Hi, I'm Sam, a Paddle UK paddle boarding instructor and open water leader.
Paddle boarding offers the perfect balance of adventure, relaxation and wellbeing. Through Sam SUP Life I love helping people discover the joy of being on the water while building confidence, skills and a real sense of community.
Whether you are stepping onto a board for the first time or looking to progress your technique, my aim is to make every session supportive, fun and inspiring.

About Me...
I dreamt of trying paddle boarding for so long and seven years ago I finally took the plunge and bought a board 'just to give it a go' and the rest is history!!!
What started as a hobby quickly became a passion (some might say obsession), then a profession, and now my absolute joy to share with others.
Paddle boarding is my happy place. There’s something magical about being on the water, the connection with nature, the peace and quiet and the chance to switch off from life’s stresses. I love that moment when you 'find your balance' (literally and figuratively), and I am passionate about helping others experience it too.
I’m here to introduce people to this incredible sport, help them build confidence with every paddle stroke, and guide them on some unforgettable SUP tours along our stunning coastline and waterways.
When I’m not on the water, you’ll find me planning new routes across Dorset, scouting locations around the UK and abroad, checking tide times, wind direction… and, of course, finding the best spots for tea and cake!!!
Safety is always my top priority, but having fun is a very close second.

My SUP Journey
2019 - Purchased my first SUP to 'give it a go' - immediately hooked!!!
2020 - CO created BH Activity Junkies, helping others meet and have fun on the water.
2022 - Qualified as a Paddle UK Inland Open Water Leader
2023 - Became a Paddle UK SUP Instructor
2024 - Started SAMSUPLIFE paddle boarding business.
2025 - Going strong with 500 + Happy customers
